DISMANTLING OF ROAD BLOCK IN NIGERIA.

 Ten Kings Ten Reign is a common slogan in African folks. It is a recuring decimal that every new appointed Inspector Genera of Police IGP tends to come up with an ideals otherwise known as AGENDA.

The new IGP Mr. Babab Usman Akali’s agenda is not a new thing in an efforts to set a goal for himself. However, with the removal of road blocks Nation wide during this critical security risk called for a great concern.

This goal is not a betterment for the citizens. It is a known facts that policemen posted to road blocks used the avenue to extort money from innocents citizens. JBut such drastic and total removal would amout to throwing a baby with the dirty water.

The dimantling could also give rooms for the herdmen and other related criminals to foster their nefarous activities without been challenged.

In the volatile areas like North east, North West, North Central and recently Easern part of Nigeria, where killing and carting away of Arms and Ammunition are the order of the day, required the presence of policemen on the roads to checkmate these criminals.

The IGP should set up a special body who could checkmates this policemen’s  activities on he roads and bring it to a minimium or bearest standard of corruption.
