AHMED GULAK: HOW KILLERS MET WATERLOO.

 Former political adviser to Good luck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulok was assassinated by a group of assassins at Obiangwu in Ngorokpala local government of Imo State on 30th of May 2021.

 The killers who accosted him at the junction while going to Air port, ordered him to come down from the vehicle, shot him severally before setting the vehicle on fire at the scene.

 On their way, the killers intercepted a lorry loaded with Onions, robbed the occupants before taking the truck to Afor Enyiogugu junction in Aboh  Mbaise local government of Imo State, where they shared the Onions to the passersby.

 It was gathered by City Express News correspondent, while playing Father Christmas with their loots at the junction, information of the killing of Ahmed Galuk broke the airwaves. The police command circulated the numbers of their vehicles, numbers of the gang  and their current location.

The police raised a combined team of Intelligence Response Team (I R T), mobile police unit and a team of soldiers to the place.

Our reporter gathered further the killers/robbers sighted the team and engaged them in a shootout. The information gathered was the killers/robbers who believed on their charms, got themselves disappointed when the superior fire power of the team brought three of their members down.

 After the battle, 3 Ak. 47 rifles, 5 magazines, 92 rounds of Ak Ammunition, one Pistol, charms and 4 vehicles were recovered from the killers/robbers.

 The team is searching for the fleeing  ones with bullets wounds and their conspirators. The police vowed to ensured such dastardly act does rear it’s urgly heads in the society.
