Right Reverend Allen legacy cannot perish, as Church organises week long activities.

Late Right Reverend David Allen.
For those who died and left good works behind, they would continue to be in the minds of the people  as if they are still with the living. This could aptly described the case with Right Reverend David Allen, the Pioneer of the Christ Church of Cherubim and Seraphim in Egba and Yewa land, and the first Bishop.
Right Reverend Allen, was called to Glory in the Lord, 14years ago,  but his memory lingers on through the legacy he left behind.
Pa Allen from Ago-Iwoye in Ogun State worked in God’s vineyard doing the work of God without looking  back, in which many miracles were performed by God through his hands.
The Church he founded has blossomed to a big ‘tree’ with many branches. Three of his children’s Venerable Prophet Sellah Allen, Venerable Michael Allen and Prophet Elijah Allen have taken the mantle, performing wonders in their different branches.
To mark the 14years death of Reverend Allen, a week long activities has been drawn up at the headquarters of the church at 1, Allen street, besides Co-operative College, Ijeja, Abeokuta, Ogun State, from Monday 9th August to Sunday 15th of August.
According to one of the children, Venerable Michael Allen, Archpope, Wednesday 11th of August is earmarked as ‘Allen Day’ which will feature various activities such as music by different musicians, and prayer sections.

.          Archpope, Prophet Michael.

Prophet Michael said the theme of the week, ‘Power of the Saints’ will see many religious leaders speaking on various topics and also on the life of Reverend Allen.
He said the pioneering work of his father in the Lord’s vineyard cannot be forgotten, hence the remembrance by members of the church he left behind and the children.
