Educationist commends Lagos State governor on giant strides in Education sector.

Proprietress of Simmic Schools in Lagos and Board member, (JPTS) International, Dr.(Mrs) Cecilia Okachi, has commended the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on the gigiantic strides in the educational sector.

She gave the commendation while speaking at this year Simmic Nursery, primary and Secondary School graduation and prize giving day.

Dr. Okachi advised parents and stakeholders in the education sector to intensify efforts in promoting child education through qualitative education.According to her, the best way to develop students is to properly teach them in accordance with modern academic curriculum for them to excel in their studies.

She said the prize given ceremony was to motivate the pupils for their present examination which she said the school did well In 2021, primary school leaving certificate examination.  Dr. Okachi, appreciated the staff, parents and teachers of the school for their support to the growth of the school.

While congratulating the graduands for their successful academic session, she used the occasion to urge parents to keep their children from social crime and cyber crime, known as Yahoo Yahoo.

She advised the youths to put their skills in digital education to useful ventures.

Dr Okachi while appreciating the giant strides of the Lagos State government in the education sector said, ‘ I have followed the governor,s activities closely and found him as a friend of the people, especially the less privileged, a man of courage and unquestionable selfless sevice to humanity.

Speaking on the state of the nation, she was worrisome on the socio economic situation in the country, particularly the security situation. The government of the day she said have failed to meet the needs of the people, as they have failed to provide social amenities such as light, water and good roads.

Dr Okachi condemned attacks on schools by bandits and Boko Haram.

She was howerever full of gratitude to the parents who supported the school during the academic year, and for coming to celebrate with the pupils, and teachers and with the school success.
