Popular Lagos business man and Eze Ndi-Igbo of Alagbado, Lagos, Eze (Dr) Leo Okafor in conjunction with Igbo speaking community in Alimosho, Lagos are to host the biggest new yam festival 2021.
The Igbo speaking Community, Agbado Oke Odo LCDA, had held a meeting with Dr. Leo Okafor, the Igwe Chimelu, Eze 1, 0welle Ndigbo 11, at 7 Owelle Ndigbo drive, Surulere off Community School road, FHA, Casso bus stop, by Zennith Bank, Alagbado, Lagos, to strategize on the event.
The one man hero, Ambassador Okafor told City Express news that this year Iriji Ndigbo known as yam festival will come up first week in September.
According to Dr Leo Okafo, one big gig many celebrities in and outside Lagos especially from the East and South are looking forward is the new yam festival..
He said he is looking to the day where Igbo title holders will gather to celebrate, where chieftaincy titles will be confermed on deserving personalities.
