It promises to be 72 hours of marathon prayers that result in signs and wonders, deliverance and healings as it has been in the last 23 years as The Christ Church of Cherubim and Seraphim Flaming Sword, Bishop David Allen Memorial in Wasimi, Ogun State, organises sessions of prayers, from 6am on Wednesday 25th August, 2021 to 6am on Saturday 28th August, 2021.
The Church is in Wasimi, behind Segun Odegbami, Sports Academy, Oteyi, Wasimi, Ogun State.
The Church, is following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, who in the book of Luke 18: 1, told his disciples, “And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray and not to faint”.
Speaking on the 72 hours marathon prayers, the Man of God in charge, Venerable Michael Allen, Archpope, said the Church is following in the footsteps of God and the founder of the Church, Late Bishop David Allen, who started it 23 years ago. Venerable Michael, a Prophet, said this year edition would not be different as reputable Men of God, have been invited to minister.
Prophet Michael said those coming should come with their faith, as there is no problem that is difficult for God to solve in the place of prayer.
Prophet Michael said the theme of the prayers session is “Pursue for Thou Shall Surely Overtake.” 1st Samuel 30: 8. Illustrating the theme, he said David lost his wives and goods to the Amalekites but with directives from God, he pursued them and recovered all from them.
He said many people today are in the position of David, assuring that the God of Late Bishop Allen is still on the throne, if they can come they will surely recover all they have lost to the powers of darkness.
