The embattled widow of the late founder and General Overseer of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua’s wife, Evangelist Evelyn Joshua has opened up on what the death of her husband has taught her. The secret tears, loss, pains, patience and spritual upliftment.
Evangelist Evelyn Joshua is not only beautiful, elegance, brain and intelligent to the core, but played prominent role behind the scene when her husband was alive. Though she was not physically visible everywhere in the church, but secretly ran all the activities of the church on behalf of her husband.
Those who know the easy going Evangelist Evelyn Joshua would testify that she is the Christ Ambassador, image maker and pivotal of Synagogue Church, though the annointing of her husband T.B. Joshua over shadow her. The pretty administrator, woman of God has always live a quiet life. She was brought to the limelight when her husband Prophet Temitope Joshua gave her opportunity to preach the gospel in one Sunday service.
She was an outspoken Evangelist with undiluted annointing. In an exclusive interview with City Express News at the Synagogue Church, at Ikotun, she said that God of Prophet Temitope Joshua made her the leader. “To God be the glory, my taken over my husband ministry is not a mistake. After the death of my husband, there were several temptations and trials from some disciples who claimed to be loyalists to my husband. They wanted to sidelined me and take over the church from me. After all, Mrs Margaret Idahosa took over the church left behind by her husband, Late Benson Idahosa, why should my own be different?.
Speaking further, Evangelist Evelyn said she has undergone many days of rigorous and marathon prayers and fasting despite mourning her husband. Within the period I was fasting and praying, God revealed a lot of things to me, so there is need for me to appreciate and thank God for what he has been doing in my life and Synagogue.” God has been releasing a lot of annointing and prophesying into my life and members of the church. I have discovered there was a cabal and conspiracy among some disciples who broke into the church save and made away with huge money. I have sacked some bad disciples who can not work with me, and more are still going to be sacked.
