Nigeria celebrated legend boxer, DSP Kelly Ikhuoria has seen the best and worst of times as a boxing champion and sports administrator. That makes police boxing association zonal Chairman of boxing contingents of Lagos and Ogun State an embodiment and authority on and off the ring.
Former Africa and National lightweight boxing champion of Nigeria and vice chairman police boxing association, DSP Kelly Ikhuoria has set to present his boxing belt and awards to High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder and chairman of DAAR Communication, owners of AIT/RAY POWER, FAAJI FM and Senator Ben Murray-Bruce in Abuja, in preparation of Inspector General of Police boxing belt champion of champion slated for December 26th 2021.
The bout will feature all the police legend boxers. Kelly Ikhuoria will slug it out against Ishola Hakeem, hard fighting Ward Ogbu against former Olympic silver medal winner sensational police fighting machine, David Izonretie, and Simeon Peter against Babatunde Jonathan, former Nigeria heavyweight champion now based in USA, while the last bout of the night will be between Sunday Okolie against Rasmus Ojemaye.
The winner will take the title belt and winning money in dollars. DSP Kelly Ikhuoria wants to prove to Nigeria Boxing Fans that he can do it again to win IGP Boxing Champion Belt. Speaking to CITY EXPRESS NEWS at Ikeja Police College at the boxing training gym, he said that he wants to lead by example as a leader. He is leading zonal police boxing team against the rest Nigeria police force team. I want zone 2 that comprises Lagos and Ogun states to win police games known as police sports festival.
He noted that Lagos and Ogun states are set to win the police games.
