The historic city of Emu Kingdom, Esan South East of Edo State on Saturday 5th of December 2021 was agog as it played host to people from all walks of life who were there to honour the children of Ma Rosaline Omoabie Adoh (73) as they gave their mother a well deserved befitting burial.
The three day carnival like burial kick started at her husband residence, Ukhuelen Ubiaja. It was a gathering of family, friends and well wishers in Edo state, coupled with wake keeping at Ibhiadan and Usolo on 4th December 2021.
The final burial started from Uromi mortuary where her remains were adored in beautiful native dress and perfume.
As death is inevitable, Madam Rosaline had paid her own price, and her charitable deeds could not be easily forgotten as through her foundation she touched many lives in her community positively.
Her death was still a mystery, as before went to attend the funeral of her in law, before fallen ill suddenly. However the testimonies of people who attended the funeral showed that a pious and virtous woman had departed from Esan land.
The three day power packed ceremony attended by members of her church Jehovah’s witnesses began with a service of song and funeral in her father’s residence, while guests and were also entertained with assorted foods and drinks .
Sweet is the remembrance of the righteous, Madam Rosaline we will never forget you.
