Keep of Lagos, CP Alabi warns, cultists, criminals.

Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Abiodun Sylvester Alabi has warned robbers, cultists and criminals to desist from their criminal activitiess in Lagos State  or face the full wrath of the law. Incessant cult clashes in the state among drivers, Okada riders, touts and motorists have been frequent.

Speaking to CITY EXPRESS NEWS in his office at Ikeja, in Lagos, CP Alabi warned that he will make the state a hell of place for them to stay.   He said that cultism has been outlawed and anybody that is involved will be arrested and charged to court. 

He charged law enforcement agents to be alive to their duties, and promised that those who are dilligent in their duties will be adequately rewarded.

He assured that police are friends of the people, and will continue to pursue cordially relationship with the people. CP Alabi urged the people to see police as friends and not foes.

The Commissioner of Police commended Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu for the fighting equipment and police patrol vehicles donated to the Command, assuring that they will be put to adequate use and  will spur his men in fighting crime.

CP Alabi assured that he will do his best to maintain law and order in the state, assuring law abiding citizens that they have  nothing  to fear, and should go about their daily activities with the assurance that the police are out to protect them.

He called on the people to always report criminal activities to law enforcement agents and desist from taking laws into their hands, assuring that the State is safe for the people.

CP Alabi however sounded a note of warning to Officers that collude with criminals to desist as there is no room for such activities during his tenure. He assured of round the clock police surveillance in all the nook and crannies of the state including ‘dark places’ and the rural areas.

He solicited the cooperation of communities leaders and traditional rulers in the state, assuring that they are partners in progress to achieve peace and tranquility all over the state.
