International Esan day summit, an event to celebrate the sons and daughters of Esan speaking community of Edo State is slated to hold in June 25th 2022 ,at the National stadium, Surulere, Lagos State.
The Esan day summit will feature papers presentation, Esan cultural dance, acrobatics, musical concert, beauty contest, dinner , presentation of
awards, and the launch of Esan calendar.

The Esan International summit will also parade who is who in Esan land. A parade of top leaders, politicians, lawyers, educationists, business mogues, members of the diplomatic corps, captain of industries, traditional rulers and musicians.
Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki will be conferred with the Achiever Award of the year 2021 for his dynamic achievements. Not to be left out for awards are Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos state and Rivers state governor, Nyson Wike. Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa is also to grace the occasion. Among those to be conferred
with Arcievers awards are the Oba of Benin kingdom, Oba Eware, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Enitan, the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu.

Also to receive awards are Prince Ned Nwoko, Mrs. Regina Daniel Nwoko, while posthumous awards will be presented to the family of Professor Ambrose Alli and the families of Admiral Augustus Aikhomu and Chief Tony Anenih.

Speaking to CITY EXPRESS NEWS in Lagos, the Coordinator/Convener of International Esan day summit 2022, Prince(Barrister) Sunny Ebhojiaye said that the summit will provide the Esan political gladiators, stakeholders and individuals the opportunity to identify and choose who will represent Edo Central to succeed Governor Godwin Obaseki.

He said the International day summit would also serve as a strategic advocacy road map to choose Edo State Central Esan extraction for next Governor of Edo State for 2023.
