Nigeria’s distinguished leader and visionary Senator with a difference, Honourable Sergius Oseasochie Ogun has called on the Federal Government to strengthen security formation in Esan land by setting up a mobile force base and army barracks within Esan land.
Honourable Ogun is worried about the state of insecurity in the country that has led to the loss of lives, properties and destruction of infrastructure in several parts of the country. The Honourable member representing Esan North-East, Esan South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Sergius Oseasochie Ogun also called on the Federal Government to strengthen the security architecture and formation in Esan land by setting up a mobile force base and army barracks within the Central part of Edo State.
He moved the motion on the urgent need to provide a roboust security formation in Esan land to avoid the type of daylight robbery that took place in Uromi Esan North of Edo State where five banks were robbed and 28 people killed by the dare devil armed robbers. According to Honourable Ogun, Nigeria has witnessed a drastically and frantic insecurity challenges.

He said in the area of security all hands must be on desk in order to have a better society.
The call was contained in a motion sponsored by the priceless pride of Agbazilo Esan East of Edo on the floor of the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
Honourable Ogun cited section 14 (2)(b) of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended, which deals with security.
Barrister Sergius Oseasochie Ogun is a man deeply conscious of the concerns of others. He is deligent, and self motivating. From his formative years there were signs that he would achieve greatness. His career path since entering politics three decades ago may lead many observers to conclude that Honourable Ogun has had greatness thrust upon him.
His recognition as Honourable member representing Esan North East/Esan Federal Constituency is a reminder to his good position for service to Esan land. He was not mistakenly chosen, for his past antecedents tell good stories of where his next destination will be in 2023 elections.
