Mabel Oboh has task Governor Godwin Obaseki over the criminal activities of fulani herdsmen in Esan land of Edo State.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in Edo State 2020 Governorship election called on Governor Obaseki over the herdsmen killings in Esan land. She pleaded with the governor to save the voiceless Esan land farmers from further killings and humiliation. ” I weep with the people over the killings.” She said.

Mabel Oboh tasked the Edo State government led by Governor Godwin Obaseki to rise up to the challenges and secure the lives and properties of the people of Esan land from the incessant attacks of herdsmen.
Mabel one of the most powerful women lin Edo State and Nigeria gave the charge while responding to plea from concerned indigenes of Ubiaja and Ugboha communities in Esan South East local government area of the state who said they could no longer go to their farms and are dying of hunger as a result of the herdsmen attack in their communities.
“My people are predominantly agrarian in Esan. This is the period and season of planting in the farms, right now if farmers can not go to their farms, farming is looming.” It is not as if we have been lying down helplessly. They set up Atalakpa security team still herdsmen over power them with their sophisticated weapons, AK 47 to be killing our people.”
I am begging Governor Obaseki to key into this and rescue my people.
A goal getter driven by excellence, hard working grassroots politician, Mabel Oboh gave kudos to Governor Obaseki for doing well in other sectors, urging him not to neglect her people’s security.
She appealed to Governor Obaseki to fish out the perpetrators and bring them to book.
