In politics the gain of one group is the loss of others. With every APC and PDP presidential aspirants there is no ordinary man. They are guided by providence yet dedicated to excellence. Since the beginning of count down of delegates meeting to the primary campings ungainly, unseemingly and very deadly politicians are struggling for political power without taking the security of the country into consideration, this could affect the 2023 elections if not checked.
The threat of insecurity to the election is real. There is no denying the fact that corruption is another critical threat to the 2023 elections.
This is because corruption misappropriate the national resources, undermines national will and subverts its potentials. Most crucially distorts the national value systems and thus put at risk its future.
It is wrong to hold the view that there should be no morality in politics.

This is because history has shown in that unwholesome political activities are generally self destructive. The money bags politicians have been going to every state trying to lobby the states delegates to vote for them.
The nation has constantly witnessed a seeming uneding bitter and divisive politics, that on several occasions almost bring the nation to the tipping point.
In a normal situation, politics promote order, this is because by exercising the right to elect leaders through free and fair elections,citizens are made to feel in control. Free, fair and transparent elections increase legitimacy and convince the led that the government of their choice would be responsive to their needs.
