Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, 2023 general elections, Abubakar Atiku is shocked and worry about the part Governor Nyesom Wike has decided to follow and continue to attack him through media with a lot of accusation.
Speaking to City Express News direct hotline telephone interview from his Abuja base, the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar said whoever advised Governor Wike to turned his back on him and continue to insult him will become invalid for the rest of his life.
According to Atiku, Wike should remember that in every thing in life, he is far better than him even in age. “Wike is a boy to me, in politics, we still know the boss. Wike’s outburst against me need to be investigated”. Wike should correct some past mistakes and tell himself the bitter truth. One can say there is no middle ground for any stakeholder in the Nigerian political scene to fight over power but it is done in dialogue.”
Wike has made great friends and great enemies for himself in the course of his chequered political career. How is Wike who claimed to be the supposed chosen running mate to me now become most bitter destractor and political rival?. What we are seeing today has been revealed to me long time ago. I see Wike betraying me and gang up against me in alliance with opposition party APC to plot to impeach me, if I have chosem him as my running mate.
He is already fighting to be number three in the country as Senate President, when 2023 election has not been decided. Those who know me, know that I am a peace maker I am not surprised about Wike ultimate over ambition to become President of Nigeria.”
“I am comfortable with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as vice president. Talking of good record and silent performance of Governor Okowa, Wike has no place in history.”
“In South South, Governor Okowa is the Chairman of Governors Forum. Wike is only a noise maker. Almost every medium is at war with Wike, especially Arise Television. He talks to journalists anyhow he likes. Is he the first person to be a Governor?.
How can one man be fighting with every member, PDP exco and in Rivers state exco and at the same time fighting against the man that brought him to politics, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
