The United Nations peace Ambassador, Barrister Prince Sunny Ebhojiaye on Monday 22nd August 2022 expressed hope that the Esan speaking community of Edo State are favoured to produce the next Governor of the state in 2024.
Though the Esan ethnic group in Edo state is the second largest in the state, unfortunately it has yet to produce a Governor of the state after Adams Oshiohole ploted the fall and removal of former Edo state governor, Professor Osunbor many years ago.
In an interview with journalists in Lagos state during the week, Barrister Sunny Ebhojiaye who is also the National Coordinator and Convener of Esan speaking community of Nigeria forum called on every Esan political stakeholders of Edo state to join hands together to search for God fearing man who can represent Esan and defend the unity of Edo state.

According to Ambassador Sunny Ebhojiaye, Esan nation is a pointer that we are on the right track to succeed if we are united for Esan agenda. He said there has never been a time the Esan people are as united and sincere in their agitation as now. “Since the creation of Edo state from Midwest state this is the first time Esan people would unanimously present one single agenda and accepted to the majority in Edo state.”

Barrister Ebhojiaye who is also the President Esan Christians Association of Nigeria and organiser of Esan Hospitality business awards advised his Esan kinsmen especially various agitating groups such as Esan Akugbe one, Edo Unity forum Esan, Edo Okpa forum, Esan progress, Esan young Democrats and United Esan progressive forum to continue to work together to achieve their common goal.
Barrister Prince Sunny Ebhojiaye, the Publisher/Chairman of City Express News and News Express/Online TV is calling on all the leading Esan Forum conveners to join together to get the consent of Governor Godwin Obaseki to endorse Esan man.
As for me God of Heavens is already invading expeditionary forces for we to conquer. The eyes of the World and of Heavens are upon the people of Esan land. The hopes and prayers of liberty loving people everywhere match with us. In company with great brothers and sisters in Esan land we shall triumph. God has given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons for our warfare to defeat our enemies against Esan agenda. Now is the time for every Esan personality to embark upon a great crusade towards uniting every Esan Forum. This is the time for us to wake up from slumber and take our destiny in our hands to fight for our rights from Edo state Pharaoh. Today, I declared prophetic prophecy that Esan dream to present God chosen candidate to be the next Governor in 2024 is about to be fulfilled.”
The sprit of God says, ” there is another great champion greater than me that will join for spiritual battle – his name is Barrister Eboigbe. For the champions before were great, but this one will be greater. For as the champion coming to unity Esan people together. I welcome the champion, Barrister Eboigbe for next level.
