Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) INC held empowerment training and seminar with the theme “Economic Empowerment Through Skill Acquisition” on Sunday 14th August 2022 at the Redeemed People of the Lord Gospel Church Incorporated 7, Unity Estate, Sango-Ota, Ogun state. It was attended by various churches under Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Temidire chapter.
The event was set aside to lecture Christians on the need to go into skill acquisition to alleviate acute hunger and poverty in the land. The occasion feature dancing, singing, prayers and healings.
Apostle Tola Olukilede said today he is not just an Apostle but also a business mogul who has also become source of inspiration and benevolence to many through his group of companies. He urged PFN to canvas skills acquisition in the vineyard of God.
Dr. Olukilede has a sprit and annonting that harbors disdain for doing things in half measures but religiously holds on to the saying that what is worth doing at all is worth doing well. The eloquent speaking great man of God explains why he is passionately committed and gives his all to whatever he sets out to do.
His sprit of total commitment and strive for excellence propelled him to the limelight in his days as a Pastor. He opened a printing press company when he was not a printer but employed an experienced printer and asked his beloved wife to monitor towards acquiring the skills and knowledge of printing job.
Today his wife has won several awards in the profession and has a well equipped printing press. He has since not looked back rather he has continued to move up the ladder in his chosen career with Bible school to heal the World.
He said that education is not enough, but should be accompanied with skills acquisition. Having attained the required education it is better to discover ones talent with skills and economic empowerment. The fashionable Apostle has continue to grow in leaps and bounds as he break barriers in the printing business.
Another great speaker, Reverend (Dr) Sodiya, the Coordinator of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, empowerment training and seminar, Temidire chapter, Sango Ota, Ogun state, urged Christians to engage themselves to embark on skills acquisition to kick out joblessness in their churches
To kick poverty out in the vineyard of God is to get the necessary information, good relationship with Fellow brothers and sisters Christians. He noted that the PFN body to be endowed with holy sprit to transform their faith.
Servant Victor David, the General Overseer of Christ Chosen Tabernacle Ministries boost the members with free registration of National Identity Card (NIN) free massaging and free blood pressure test.
Pastor Adepoju in his contribution emphasized importance of skills acquisition training programme, like catering, graphic design, computer training, content creation, fashion designing, carpentry, and other skills. Some other speakers at the event also emphasized the need for youths to empower them by acquiring skills.
Prophet Adeosun said poverty can be minimize by engaging if people engage themselves in skills acquisition to achieve a better society.
Among prominent personalities in attendance was Prophetess (Mrs) Vivian David, the wife of Servant Victor David of Christ Chosen Tabernacle Deliverance Ministries, as well as many youths and adults.
