Former Minister of Works, Arch Hon. Mike Onolememen wants to prove his critics wrong again as Edo Central Senatorial District. The height by great men reached and kept were not totally atained by sudden flight but they while their companions slept were toiling upward in the night.
This instructive quote most eloquently captures the life of Chief Arc. Mike Oziegbe Onolememen under the current democratic dispensation whose outstanding achievements have not only confounded his critics but have drawn considerable applause.
Mike unwavering commitment to the good of the people is largely evident in the positive way. His philanthropist activities has continue to endear him to many people who value service to humanity.
He studied why some past leaders could not do well when they were in government. His mandate to serve his father land, Esan, Edo state was not by accident. After much consultation with some great Edo state PDP gladiators he was given go ahead to obtained form to go for the crown.
He told City Express News in Lagos after INEC published his name as the original winner of primary that he will work towards emancipation of his people and embark on poverty alleviation programmes when elected.
He appealed to Esan people to vote him into power because he knows their pains and would work to relief them.
His performance as Honourable Minister of Works during Jonathan regime testifies that Chief Mike will have easy ride to safe journey to be elected to the National Assembly as a Senator.
The political favour son of Chief Tony Annenih is driven by humility, hard work and dedication to serve.
The man popularly known as Bulldozer is out to develop Esan land. He was Chief Tony Anenih joker and was ordained by Iyasele of Esan land. He was supposed to be the Governor of Edo state in 2016 election after his tenure as Minister of Works. It could not materialised after the death of Chief Tony Anenih.
Chief Mike Onolememen was a shine light to Edo state as Honourable Minister of Works. It was President Goodluck Jonathan who gave him Nigeria Bulldozer because of his remarkable construction of federal roads, like Sagamu Benin road Lokoja road.
He could have been the next governor of Edo state if Chief Anenih were to be alive.
