POLICE GAMES IN UYO BEST EVER, IGP ALKAH USMAN BABA APPLAUDED FOR HIS MOTIVATION, GOOD OFFICIATING – ACP EJEDAWE –

Nigeria Police Games tagged 13th Biennial Games hosted by Akwa Ibom State Government at Uyo Township stadium, came and gone but the memory of the participation joy and happiness by the Athletes Police Officers remained indelible and lingering on in the history of police games. It was a beautiful games sports festival by the Nigeria Police force that was better organized with best officiating. One man that was happy for the successful game performances, officiating and motivation is Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Patrick Ejedawe, gave kudos to inspector General of Police IGP Alkali Usman Baba. The Police shooting Association chairman, Lagos State shooting Association Chairman and a member of Nigeria shooting Association, ACP Patrick Ejedawe was overwhelmed of the performances, of the athletes due to the financial support, equipment and training in the camp, before the police games proper. ACP Ejedawe said that IGP Alkali Baba Usman has a track record of getting things done. ACP Patrick Ejedawe, a super cop par excellence, said that IGP Usman is a lover of sports and he was a great sports personality in his youth days, the outcome of successful games was as result of the pillar of sport of the last police games. Now he is the current inspector General of Police.

The police games was spectacular you can imagine, Ejedawe alluded to the series of IGP games from chess to triathlon in 2021 that were unprecedented regarding the changes of police games and the host, Akwa Ibom. IGP Usman motivated both officials and athletes from the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony. It was IGP that encouraged every participant. Young talents were discovered during the police game, our sports loving IGP make the athletes to performed to great expectation.
