IGP USMAN ALKALI BABA’S MAGIC GAVE FORCE HEADQUARTER OVER ALL VICTORY, HE DESERVE TO BE HONOURED WITH AFRICA PILLAR OF SPORTS ACP PATRICK EJEDAWE

Assistant commissioner of Police ACP Patrick Ejedawe, former Nigeria National Gold Medalist in Shooting and Police Chairman of Nigerian Police Shooting Association said that there is hope for better future in Nigeria Police Force. The magic of inspector general of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba, gave the force headquarters a divine over all victory at the just concluded police games. We need to honour our sports loving father with special decorated plaque for his moral and financial support for the successful police games. He deserve the great award of honour Nigeria Police Athletes put up spectacular performances during the just concluded 13th Biennial police sports games at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Though, the Nation Sports activity in Nigeria has witnessed a set-back following a steady decline of fortunes. Stunted grassroots development, poor facilities and infrastructure and leadership tussle that has seen Nigeria fall down the pecking order behind other African countries. The Nigeria police force boss, inspector general of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba appointed experience sports managers, coaches and trusted police Association distinguished chairmen to managed police sports, to oversee the affairs of general sports.

Sports administrators and chairmen were delegated to take over sports activities immediately IGP Usman was appointed by president Muhammadu Buhari. Kudos and praises must goes to our sports loving IGP Usman for not disappointing during the early preparation of the games, I humbly appeal to sports officer to set sports committee to honour our IGP for his great effort and resources to bring back Police Sports as the number one agency in Nigeria. He can be honoured along with former inspector general of police IGP MD. Abubakar retired for his sports promotions in Nigeria Police Force before he retired, Ejedawe said.
