Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba and the Honourable Minister for information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed have been scheduled to speak at the 2022 Police Public Relations Officers (PPROS) conference that is already holding at the Kakanfo inn, Ring Road Ibadan, Oyo State.
As the 2023 general election approaches the Nigeria Police Force are also planning big for all the image makers of Nigeria Police. Speaking to City Express News in an exclusive interview, the Nigeria Police Public Relations officer CSP Ademuyiwa Adejobi, stated that Nigeria Police Force are battle ready for 2023 forth coming elections.
He told City Express News this morning at the opening ceremony at Kakanfor in Ibadan that, the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba has packed programme for the Police Public Relations officers who have come from every part of state and Abuja to attend Police conference that will help in inspiring Police Public relations Officers to attain Leadership position as well build them with the public in terms of communication skills. CSP Adejobi, said that Minister of information and culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed, would be the keynote speaker, while some retired Inspector General of Police, Commissioners of Police, eminent Nigerians, Politicians lawyers and Journalists will be quest speakers.
The conference started on the 11th December to 15th December, 2022. Theme: of five days conference is “STRENGTHENING STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION TOWARDS POLICE REFORMS SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF 2023 ELECTIONS”.

The speakers are carefully selected based an asset – enhancing strategies, they have to share the police participants for collective nation building. The amiable and outspoken distinguished Force public Police relations officers, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, noted further of the conference that will give broad knowledge of communication with the general public. The Chief host IGP Usman Alkali Baba is also expected to give closing remark at the conference.
Nigeria Police needs to brain storm on how to tackle the numerous security challenges facing the country at this period of election, he concluded.
