The 29th December rescheduled meeting between Union Leaders of Food Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association (FOBTOB) and the Management of Nigeria Distillery Company, Otta, Ogun State over the sacking of the Union’s branch Chairman, Comrade Samson Salau is stalemated.

FOBTOB picketed the company on December 20th over the sacking of Comrade Salau by the management of the company on mere allegation of calling the Financial Director a thief.
FOBTOB has described the sacking of Comrade Salau unacceptable and called for his reinstatement. After deliberation as a result of the picketing, the union executive and the company management could not reached an agreement which resulted in postponing till yesterday December 29th 2022.
In a chat with Correspondent Afolabi Oyekunle on the outcome of the meeting, the General Secretary of FOBTOB, Comrade Adebosin said the meeting again was inconclusive and leaders of the union will be meeting with the management of the company early next year.
According to Comrade Adebosin, “If we cannot resolve at the next meeting, we would take the necessary steps to make the management comply.
