On 2nd February 2023, IGP Alkali Usman started his lecturing campaign against violence in line with his
philosophy and character as the inspector General of Police IGP Alkali.He has lent its voice to the lingering insecurity in the country. He has been encumbered with insecurity challenges for the past years now.
Speaking with City Express News in a Telephone interview, the Nigeria Police Force, public Relations officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said that Inspector General of Police IGP Alkali Usman Baba has declared open summit centers to ensuring secured and safe atmosphere for Nigerian women youths and Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) members in force headquarters Abuja.
According to Police image maker, CSP Adejobi, IGP Alkali has done much for Nigeria Police in preparation of 2023 general election. Last week IGP has assigned 612 officers to combat cultism, kidnapping and robbery to avoid electoral violence across six Geo – political zones in the country.
Adejobi, said, IGP Alkali has advised the Nigeria youths, women and men against vote – buying, citing the electoral law, the police will not allowed electoral offenders. He said electoral offenders would face the punishment. The Nigeria police will effectively monitor the voting and counting of the voting process. IGP charges trainees to deploy expert, cascade knowledge to others.
IGP Alkali Usman Baba has urged political stakeholders influential, women and youths to corporate with Nigeria Police Force for sustainable peace in sight during 2023 general Elections. We Nigeria Police Force cannot watch and fold our arms, seeing innocent women, children and men be killed because of thuggery and hooliganism. According to IGP Alkali, Nigeria Police are committed in restoring peace all over the country. Speaking further, the Police Public Relations Officer CSP Muyiwa Adejobi said that Nigeria Police Force is fully ready for the election without compromise. We are battle ready he concluded.
