Edo central will reward me with Governorship ticket…..Dr. Mike Onolememen

Dr Mike Onolememen was the winner in Edo central senatorial district, during the PDP Primarily election but was knocked out by Supreme Court verdict, which gave Senator Engineer Clifford Ordia ticket to represent PDP at the Edo Central senatorial district election

. The APC candidate Monday Okpebholo on the 18th March, 2023 won the election

. Arc Mike Onolememen (CON) spoke to City Express News from his Abuja based office, on his achievements in national building and chance of becoming the Governor of Edo State in 2024 election.

As we move closer to the Edo 2024, Governorship election, what is your view of the political development in Edo State? Even before now I never think that I will be going for Edo State Governorship election. I never have a thought of going to contest for Governorship election. My concentration was Edo central senatorial district. When one road closed another road will open. I’m a man from streets and I understand the grass root politics in Nigeria mostly in Edo State. In my service as former Minister of works, former minister of state for defense during Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration in May 2007 and a former member of the National Economic Management a think tank team.

What is your advice for the people of Edo State? As a stakeholder I will just urge all the political actors to maintain peace because Edo State is for the PDP party state. You have done much for Nigeria through appointment in different capacities. What have you done for Edo State in your time in Government? During former president Goodluck Jonathan tenure as the minister of works, the Federal Network roads underwent a complete transformation, Lagos – road to Auchi, Benin City, Edo State saw the dualization of numerous significant Federal roads and bridges were taken care

. “My unprecedented land mark political antecedents and short biographical analysis shall surely encourage others to greater heights. I also believe my curricular vital (CV) will speak for me where I served four different in democratic administration. I will even serve better in Edo State as the Governor.

What do we expect from you, if the people of Edo State voted you into power in 2024 Election? A man who thinks of himself is hopelessly uneducated. In case of me, the people of Edo State. Open mindedness and large heartedness is going to be my watch words. My campaign slogan and manifestoes will be address, in security in Edo State, qualitative good governance in Edo State.

Last question sir, we learnt you are a stingy man, we hope you can be trusted to use the money available for Edo project and development I am not a stingy man I will turned Edo State to Africa Dubai.
