Barrister Monday Eboigbe aka (MONEB) is the Gubernatorial Aspirant of the Labour Party (LP) in 2024 Edo State coming election.
In this interview with City Express News, he said that a man who thinks only of himself is hopelessly uneducated. In case of Monday Eboigbe generosity, open mindedness and large heartedness, are his watchwords

According to Eboigbe, ” After a useful, fruitful and meritorious service of building a bridge for people to cross over to politics and good governance in the past, this is my time to come out to use my experience and represent my Edo people.”
As a man not given to unnecessary intimidation, he decided to come out and slug it out at the political battle field.
A public office they say is a public trust. To whom much is given, much is expected. As a mark of appreciation to his people for the trust in him and in order to reciprocate their good will and gesture extended to him since twenty five years in politics, he decided to contest the next election and hopefully become the next Governor.
The name Monday Eboigbe (MONEB) may not ring bell in Edo State, but in Esan land as a man of honour, a young breed politician, vibrant Lawyer and worthy Ambassador of his people, an intellectual leader, farmer, industrialist and resourceful humanist, he has greatly immortalized his name on the sands of time since birth
He said, his decision to serve his people, Edo State at a higher pedestal is inter alia that “It is a huge sense of responsibility to further serve my people (Edo State) in the capacity of a state Governor, because I am of the opinion that my vast experience in life and successful law practice, business acumen have greatly equipped me to carry out this heavy responsibility without fail.”
Eboigbe also believes that in Edo, the state needs a leadership, which must be courageous, humane, strong, wise, knowledgeable, selfless without pretentions and obsessed with the fundamental base upon which the unity of the people could be effectively guarantee.
According to Eboigbe, his entry into the political landscape of Edo State is essentially geared towards the unity, prosperity and total advancement of the people and be free from the cancer of social indiscipline, ethic and political parochialism.
He has decided to lead a government free from deceit but prepared to work to protect the rights of the indigenes of the state and be imbued with the political dexterity to enthrone Justice and equity in Edo State. “As soon as I am elected as the Governor of Edo State, I will establish a youth trade (Skill) acquisition centres at Edo State, in every Local Government Area, I will employ the youths, a significant step to man power development and eradication of unemployment in our society.
I have handled several milestones cases for the people and lived in this state for 40 years. I know the problems of our people and have felt their pains – from kidnapping to inflation and poor infrastructure. The people deserve a Governor who knows and understands their struggles, learned and informed enough of solving them.
The chieftain of Labour Party (LP) in Edo State. Barrister Monday Eboigbe, who is also LP Governorship Aspirant, says the party has perfected plans to transform the state if voted into power.
