Tinubu confirms Adeniyi as CG Customs.

President Bola Tinubu has confirmed the appointment of the Customs boss Adewale Adeniyi as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

This was contained in a statement signed by Willie Basset, Director Information, for the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The appointment, according to the statement, takes effect from 19th October, 2023 and his tenure is in accordance with the extant provisions of the Public Service Rules (PSR).

Tinubu on the 19^th of June, 2023 announced Adeniyi as the Acting CG of Customs .

The President tasks him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment.
