Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu, is a Police Officer of no mean integrity
a distinguished human rights police who believes in Justice, Fraternity, equity and noble deeds, a Police officer with
excellent demeanors and one of the most respected heavy weights of our generation.

He has led a life of distinction and clinically proven ability, which
makes him an unbeatable. His records of academic accomplishments and meritous
service could better be exemplified in a different biographical form other than a mere citation.
This fact could be clearly attested to because the commissioner of police is a silent worker, and has
unbreakable police record in recent times.
Lagosians need a Police commissioner that is accessible.

always care for his officers especially the less privilege. The inspector general of Police, AG.
IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun made the right choice, the person of commissioner

at the force Headquarters Abuja, (CP Olatunji Disu), described him as a beacon of strength,
workaholic, working machine, influential personality, courageous, vibrant, versatile,
vigilance and benevolence, Highlighting his characteristics, industrious nature and immense
pride. He was everywhere attending to the Inspector General of Police, and others
Superior Officers coming to visit him in his officer signing different petitions on behalf of IGP Egbetokun. Journalists, Lawyers and Civil society crowded him for different reasons.

CP Olatunji Disu was born in Lagos Island, had his
post primary education at May flower Junior School, Ikenne, Ogun State; attended Pobuna
Secondary Grammar School, Epe and Saint Gregory’s College, Lagos. He obtained a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in English (Education) at the Lagos State University, post graduate Diploma
in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lagos State University. Advance
Diploma in forensic investigation and criminal intelligence from the Lagos, a certificate in
personal protection from the United Kingdom, he has a masters degree in public
Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo State and another Masters
in criminology, security and Legal psychology from Lagos State University (LASU). He joined
the Nigeria Police Force in 1992 as a cadet ASP and was trained at the Nigeria Police
Academy Kaduna State.
CP Disu Served as DPO in various divisions and states. He led the first Nigeria Police
contingent to Darfur, Sudan (AMIS) for peacekeeping. He also served as commander Special
Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and Anti-Kidnapping units in Ondo, Oyo and River State commands
as well as 2i/c Rivers State criminal investigation Department (SCID) and
commander Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Ikeja Lagos State.

He has served as Commander with Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and Anti-Kidnapping units in Ondo, Oyo and River State commands as well as 2i/c Rivers State criminal investigation Department (SCID) and commander Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Ikeja Lagos State.
